Velvet Skin Coat Make up Primer DHC

Hey! I have a another DHC product to share with ya ;)
This one is the Velvet Skin Coat Make Up Primer! I got this in the sample pack and
I think this is one of my favorite products from DHC !

I have actually never used a Primer before so this was a new thing for me. I had told the company that my face is very oily and that i tend to have shine on my face. They sent me this saying that it will help make my face more matte and will help my makeup stay in place :)

The consistency of this product was not like a gel or a cream at all. It's actually like a gel and cream combined almost!

Here is a picture:

A little goes a long way, guys! I put this on my face and instantly my face was more matte. I could tell since when the sun hit my face that morning, my face wasn't shiny or reflecting the light. It was as matte as I wanted it to be!

I really enjoyed this product and I think I will invest in this product as well. I think my make up stayed on very well, except for my eyeliner...

Since i have very oily skin, this primer only helped me stay matte for maybe 3 or 4 hours before I started to develop some shine on my forehead and nose area.

I give this product a 4/5 !!!

Deep Cleansing Oil (Sample) from DHC

DHC is an amazing company and I definitely recommend checking them out! They have beauty products and fantastic skincare products, too! They are also VERY generous and so kind! I emailed them about having some samples and they were so nice enough to send me a catalog and a bunch of samples for me to try out!

The first product I used was the Deep Cleansing Oil! It removed all my makeup and left my skin feeling super soft and moisturized! I was pretty skeptical at first because... it's an OIL cleanser. I have very oily skin, so this was something I was worrying about: adding extra oil to my face -.-

But for someone who has oily skin, this product was great! I don't think it made my skin feel greasy or oily at all!

This product is a very high demanding product on their site. They sell like 10 of these every minute or something.
There are also several of good reviews about this cleanser as well! I only got the sample size so I wasn't able to get the full benefit, but i am for sure thinking about in investing in this product!

If you're interested in trying it out, just email the DHC company asking for a sample of the Deep Cleansing Oil and they'd be glad to send you one! But please consider checking their site out and scrolling down their goodies!

RATE: 5/5

How to attain Beautiful, Healthy, and Soft Hair

You would not believe how many people ask me, "Hannah, your hair is SO soft and so silky!!!!" I get those comments way too often in Middle School and I get asked by a lot of girls how I get my hair that way. I hadn't really thought about it until now. This method might not work on EVERYBODY, but at least it's worth a shot to try and attain Healthy hair.

Before I begin, I just want to let you all know that I got my hair permed straight (it's usually straight and wavy) and my mom also told the salon lady to put something in my hair that will give a very soft and silky feeling. Perking your hair is totally an option. If you can afford it, then you automatically have soft, healthy looking hair! If not, keep reading...

Normally, I do not wash my hair EVERYDAY. I wash my hair every other day to let some of the nutrients and oils in. The brands of Shampoo and Conditioner I use are usually Pantene.

Also, when adding conditioner to your hair, comb your hair through with your fingers or a comb and then let it sit there for about 3 minutes or so. Do not put too much or your hair will be TOO oily. You should put a small amount on your scalp too. Just pay for attention to your strands of hair.

When getting out of the shower, I wrap my hair in a towel. I put lotion and then get dressed for everything until I take my hair out of the towel. Afterwards, I make sure my hair is damp and flip my hair upside down so my head is facing my toes and use a comb to comb my hair in the position I am at. I know it's weird but this is also a cool trick to grow your hair a bit longer too!

I also NEVER use a brush. I found out that using a comb doesn't pull out as much hair as the brush and it seems that using a comb doesn't get your hair as much oily as the brush. I now use the comb all the time.

I don't usually dry my hair. My mom tells me that drying my hair will get my hair silkier. I have never even tout about drying my hair like that but if you feel to use a hair dryer, go for it. I usually air dry my hair.

Some things I use at home to make my hair silky is that when I wash my hair during the night (before I go to bed) i add some hair lotion. You can find nutritious hair lotion for your hair at Sally's or a Professional Beauty Salon. Then after running the lotion through my hair, I comb it again and fall asleep in my bed

Before Semtember, I always curled my hair with a curling iron or straightened my hair with a straightening iron. For Healthy looking hair, I don't use these anymore. Using the heated irons dry my ends and they don't look or feel too good. If you have really curly hair who is in need of straightening, what I would do is buy some Heat Protected spray (with a silky treatment) and straighten my hair.

In my hair world, a day without combing my hair gets disastrous and tangles my hair way too much. so remember to always comb your hair, especially every night.

I hope I helped you guys attain a healthy, shinier look for your hair and please comment and tell me what happened to your hair using these tips. It may take some time. For me, it took three or four weeks about to attain the hair I WANTED. Thanks guys!!!!!
